I just got Costco’s new Roland RFP-Nuvola bundle. It does seem like a variation of the FP-30X, with subtle cosmetic variations and small internal differences e.g. a slightly different song/sound list and upgraded Bluetooth (v5.0). I recommend comparing the user manuals on Roland’s website to see the details.

I think the stand and pedal bar look great! Note that the bundle’s bench does not have storage.

I've been reading reviews of digital pianos and know that Rolands in general are very well liked, particularly for the price. However, I'm having a lot of problems coming across info for the piano that Costco sells in particular, the Roland RCP-800. I'm assuming this is because it's a model number made exclusively for Costco, but I am guessing there is another model that Roland sells outside Costco that is 98% the same.

The Costco piano is $1,700 dollars ($300 off right now). We like it because it looks like a piano, not a keyboard (we want it in our main room), I've read Roland's feel and play like real pianos, and it seems like it has all the features and accessories we would want. I don't play the piano at all hardly, my wife does a bit, but we primarily want one so that our kids can start taking piano lessons as they grow. Obviously a four year old learning piano doesn't need a great piano, but we have the money and want something nice enough that if they do develop a real talent for it, we can get them a lot of years of experience before upgrading to a real piano. Is there anything I should look at specifically instead of this Roland?
