Very much considering it, stay tuned for news :D Supporting consoles was actually the biggest reason for us to port from Godot 3 to Godot 4 (engine update). Can't tell anything yet though, needs some more time. Dome works great on the Steamdeck though. ... I don't have this game, but just so you know, I would buy this on the Switch (or Switch 2) if it's 10 euros.

May 11, 2023 - Unlocked content feels a touch light and defending the base can get a bit overwhelming too early. But that wasn’t enough to cloud over the sheer fun I had playing this sci-fi wonder. If you’re looking for a fresh new roguelike then Dome Keeper comes highly recommended.

October 13, 2023 - Nothing planned right now, but we think Dome would be great on Switch! For now we focus on expanding Dome, and then look into ports. There is also a comment on official Discord server left by one of the developers (Rene), which states that console release is possible in around a year after majority of work over the game will be finished. The recent big update of Dome Keeper was on October 5.

We can't currently say just when though. The focus right now is on expanding the PC version first. Mainly for technical reasons really: if the game gets ported to say Switch now, there will be a lot more work with bigger updates to come since there's more than one platform to work on at the same time.

September 27, 2022 - While a bit more variety in the types of underground locales you visit perhaps wouldn't have gone amiss, I've also been playing this practically non-stop all of last week, gobbling up its small, 30-minute maps as well as luxuriating in its large, 90-minute plus ones. It took me the best part of six hours to unlock all of its starting domes, modes and gadgets, and I'm excited to see how the promised 'assessor' keeper that's supposedly 'coming soon' switches things up further from the default astronaut.

August 22, 2025 - From our platform perspective, the Xbox-owned MachineGames & Bethesda’s Indiana Jones & The Great Circle had two interesting elements - confirmation of a Switch 2 release in 2026, and the trailer end slate again showcasing the now default triple Xbox platform branding: ‘Xbox Series X|S - Xbox on PC - Xbox Cloud’.
