It is confusing to know if switching to Amazon Business while continuing to pay for prime means that business orders now must have a $49 minimum, not $25, for free 2-day shipping.

Also, are the "exclusive" discounts and bulk discounts any good?

What worries me is that Amazon Business does not have no-rush incentives. I do not actually ever cash those in, but it worries me that signing up for Amazon Business will actually be a downgrade while I continue to pay for prime.

Amazon business is nice if you want a lot of people to have access to the account, but one person who can view/approve all of the purchases. I've never actually seen/used one of the exclusive deals, I've purchased like 20 computer mice but it wasn't enough for a bulk discount. In my experience it's in no way superior to prime, aside a purchasing person having access to multiple linked accounts/being able to approve purchases. It is free 2 day shipping with no subscription cost, though.

I switched over my account to a Amz Business account. The discounts aren't very big...most of the time, I don't even notice. maybe a few percent cheaper. I miss the "recommended items" from a regular amazon account. when you switch to a Business account, you don't get recommendations anymore. for me, I chose Business to get free shipping @ $49 without having to pay for Prime.

It can be a little difficult to keep your personal orders and business orders separate, especially when searching for old orders that you don't remember under which umbrella you chose to place the order. The list of Departments is re-arranged in such a way that if you often purchase non-business related items like clothing or consumer-electronics, you now have to dig deep to find those. An extra step in the check-out process for PO Number (it's not required but does take up the whole screen and is one additional required click-through). It takes a little bit of setting up to get payment options and approval requirements all dialed in for account users and groups (even if you're the only one using the account, you will still have to manage your permissions etc the same as if you were 1 of 100 with access). It takes a while to get used to all of the new places to find account information and moving back and forth between managing yourself as a user from the business side and then actually doing stuff from within your user's. All of the cons are minor but kind of annoying/complicated when you're used to logging in as a single user. Anyone use Amazon Business Account?

I use it for personal stuff. It's basically Prime 2 day shipping with a $50 order minimum and none of the other prime benefits. Not bad for free.
