Asking because we have some real Lynch-heads around here. I’ll take 2021 over Lynch’s almost any day but was struck by how much the new one borrowed from it - I believe out of respect.

As a movie the 2021 Dune is totally fine but to me personally it was... Forgettable. I don't know, I'm probably in the minority here but Lynch's version just stuck with me more. It's more visually interesting (for better or worse), and the fanedit is IMO a solid adaptation of a very difficult to adapt novel.
