Since people are getting the new attachments, any thoughts on the coanda smoothing dryer? Is it good?

In the summer my hair frizzes within a half hour of me doing my hair. The winter it’s fine, only the summer. I’ve tried the humidity creams and haven’t found a good solution yet. Just curious if this helps with the frizz or is it only temporary?

Love love love it! I have wavy thick coarse hair. It doesn’t frizz as much but when it does, I use the attachment and it does help keep it down until my next wash (2-3 days). My hair is most frizzy on wash day so my natural oils would settle the hair down after that day. Also makes the top of my head feels super smooth. I do use an anti frizz serum from my local salon but the combo of the two is amazing imo

okay so i got the dyson air wrap complete long in the strawberry bronze for Christmas & now im realizing i dont have the blow dryer (my boyfriend was like “wait doesnt the blow dryer look like a mini dyson fan” LOL & i was like oh yeah?? true i dont have that.. so now my greedy ass wants the blow dryer & straightener too🥲 i thought for the price it came with the blow dryer! honestly though, the smoothing tool has been working for me as a blow dryer… so is it really worth it?? let me know!🎀

The blow dryer and smoother are the same attachment. You spin the top nub to switch between smoothing or blow dry functionality

The Coanda smoothing attachment does work as a blow dryer. You just have to turn the knob at the top. It’s not as powerful as an actual blow dryer but it does work pretty good IMO. Also not sure if you were able to choose free gifts but when I purchased mine last month, I was able to choose the fast drying attachment as a free gift (the one that looks like a fan). That one works amazing at drying the hair. I believe it only comes standard with the ID but you can purchase as an attachment on the Dyson site for $39.99. If you don’t have that attachment, maybe look into purchasing that one. It’s A LOT cheaper than buying the Supersonic (Dyson’s actual blow dryer). I find it unnecessary to own both an Airwrap and the Supersonic just for drying purposes, but that’s just my opinion. If you’re looking for another Dyson product, I definitely recommend going for the Airstrait instead. I bought both during the BF deal and they’re both great.
