How do you normally get notified of your items' arrival at a commercial carrier's shipping hub? Is it usually by phone? Yes. But the problem occurs when the shipper doesn't put the phone number anywhere on the label. I don't think the global shipping program is set up to mandate including a phone number, but I haven't used it with a package I needed to trace for quite some time.
