Parking
Tailgating is generally not permitted during events at Exposition Park. For USC football games, it is allowed only in specific areas with a Tailgate Pass, which must be obtained through the University of Southern California (USC).

Public Safety
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) patrols Exposition Park and buildings within the Park. All DPS officers are authorized under the California Penal Code section 830.7 and have peace officer powers of arrest while on duty.
Park History
In 1913, it was renamed Exposition Park according to the “City Beautiful” movement with four anchor tenants: California Museum of Science and Industry (Exposition Building), National Armory, Domed National History Museum, and the Sunken Garden (which in 1928 was later renamed the Rose Garden).

Expo Park has a ton to see and do, including the L.A. County Natural History Museum, California Science Center, California African American Museum as well as BMO Stadium and the L.A. Coliseum. Under construction is the upcoming Lucas Museum. The park itself is lovely, particularly the rose garden, though it could use a bit of upkeep.
