So I wanted this stunning yellow gown that I found on Fashion Nova and placed my first order with the company. The item was supposed to be delivered on July 6th. I was home all day and nothing ever came. Then I noticed the item was marked as delivered. Their website told me to wait up to three days to make sure it wasn’t an issue with the delivery carrier. After waiting more than three days I reached out. They asked me to make sure the carrier posted a photo of the item in the delivery location on the tracking website. There was no photo. I then only received automated messages telling me I needed to wait three days after delivery to reach out (by this time it was almost 5 days). A week later I finally got a response after emailing customer service twice. They told me I had ten days to make a complaint from the supposed delivery (which I had, twice) and then that because the carrier claims they delivered the package, they won’t refund me or anything. And now I’m trying to get in contact with the carrier and it’s been about four days of trying and I cannot get anyone to respond to me.

Does Fashion Nova always run its customer service like this? Or did I just happen upon a truly rare, but unfortunate experience? I’ve honestly never had a brand who requires their carrier to photograph proof of delivery then deny me a refund/replacement when the tracking can’t prove delivery…

The last time I ordered I never received my package and never could get a hold of a live person. I eventually just disputed the charge with my bank and have never ordered again.

Their CS downright is abusive. I ended my relationship with them after filling my cart and punching in a code for BOGO half on jeans and hitting next... waiting to see my review of cart before hitting Submit. Surprise! Jokes on you... no Review Order screen. Literally. The first online company I ever purchased from with no Review Order safeguard. I began using their CS to fix the mistake. Nothing. No person. Just an endless runaround of Need More Help? Click Topic! Bullshit. Eventually I got my order and returned everything except a few decent items. They received my return but didn't process it. For 5 weeks it sat there at their site. Got the State of California involved and got a written response by FN to me and the State.. Miraculously they found my return but I found a huge discrepancy in the dates which they incorrectly reported to California officials. i wrote California authorities correcting their mistake and asked for an investigation but not sure if it went further. I kept making orders and returns until my gift card returns were finally used up because they do NOT refund you. Every return cost about 20 extra dollars of shipping but I was not leaving my money on the table. The USPS can have the money but I'm not about to let FN keep my refund. (I posted here about my experiences for what that's worth.) So OP they do suck. They will leave you hanging and force you to take action hoping that you'll give up and take your money. It's not that their items are terrible. I liked a lot of them as far as looks at Walmart quality materials and craftsmanship even though their designs and fabrics are way cuter than Walmart clothes but they run very very long on the arm length and inseam, painfully so. Ridiculously long. Had to get 2 pants and 1 jacket altered. I'm going to suggest you screenshot and label each your orders and your shipping info and their response. Put it in Google docs and make sure you have a shareable link.Go to California Attorney General's website and fill out the complaint form if you would like help but only if you have tried everything to work directly with FN first and still can't get it resolved. I thought either they'll go out of business because of their slimy tactics or learn and get better, even, but I'm not sure I can ever place another order, I learned my lesson.

It feels deceitful, dismissive, and purposely evasive on their part. Fashion Nova did refund my shipping fee, which, as I told their team, I appreciate.
