So I just got an email that says that my package is out for delivery, and they said in the email that I can download the app and view the live tracking map. Only problem is I downloaded the app and signed in and clicked "Track Package:" but I don't see where the live map is. Does the truck have to be close by for that feature to pop up? My delivery window is 9:30am-11:30am EST with the Standard Overnight Service.
When it's out for delivery it has the estimated frame whicht then allows me to view live map but whenever I try it says it's unavailable, this has been happening since Saturday
We moved out to the country a few months ago. We have a 1/4 mile long private driveway with its own private road name. This address is registered as our mailing address and the post office delivers our mail under that address. However, if you were to type this address into Google Maps, it would not be found. We have a "GPS address" that is associated with the main road that our driveway connects to. If this address is entered into Google Maps, it finds it immediately and is pinned directly on our house. We have tried using both addresses for Fed Ex and they have trouble with both. We have had several missed deliveries. Every day they miss a delivery, we get a call from Fed Ex in the evening explaining they could not find our address. We've explained the situation to them multiple times, told them both of the addresses and have given very specific instructions/directions, but they still have trouble the next day.
So with all of that going on, I'm curious about which system they use the find the locations/directions to where they are delivering. Type it in to google? Company-owned GIS? ??
Has anyone rectified a similar situation before?
