It really depends on some things. Yoke or stick? - do you want to play a detailed fighter jet, a detailed civilian simulation or just something to hop into and fly around? Flight Gear is a free, open source flight sim if you want to try it out flight sims first. MSFS and XPlane both cost money and come with a variety of planes, however, you can buy new planes or terrains if needed. MSFS is a nice and casual experience and can be modded into something more serious, if needed. XPlane is a bit more "professional" let's say and a bit more complicated. Great physics and aircraft in it. DCS World is for free, but it focuses on fighter aircraft and combat missions and areas only. It comes with two planes. (Su-25T, not clickable and TF-51D, clickable) It's also the most expensive free game you'll ever play as the modules cost up to 80 bucks, but are 1:1 simulated. Every switch and button works, great physics and good graphics. It's quite a workload at first, though. You can try every plane for free for 2 weeks to see if it is for you. I typed this while on the bus, just ask away if you have more questions. More on reddit.com
