I don't think it's accurate to say they are going out of business. Someday, maybe, not not today. I shopped there ages ago and the clothes were so poorly made it wasn't worth it, even for very short term use. I wasn't really thinking about waste then but I never returned. Honestly, people don't go to Forever 21 for fashion advice, they go there to get affordable fashion. Rather than worrying about whether your advice is perfect, I would worry more about whether you're delivering good customer service - that you're approachable, polite, engaging etc. Forever 21 is a nightmare as far as organization, so make sure you know how to locate items, that's a far more useful skill than giving fashion advice. If you do want an idea of trends, go to "girly" magazines like InStyle, People, Elle, Vogue. (You can find this all online.) You an also go check out blogs like NyMags The Cut, and Refinery29, and sites like PopSugar. It will train your eye as to what types of looks young women are influenced by, and make sure you know all the words that are mentioned. More on reddit.com
