Haters are valid, but Forever 21 allowed me to truly explore my style at a young age since they were affordable clothes that catered to pretty much every trend. Trying on 18 different things at the mall dressing room by myself while my mom was browsing Dillards will always be a core memory to me. RIP Forever 21. Gone but never forgotten 😭💔🫶

Hey everyone, I was just wondering how people feel about Forever 21. I am trying to rebuild my wardrobe but this seems like a slow/ expensive process. Do people feel like Forever 21 is an okay place to shop for basics? They have some good deals going on right now but I don't want to waste my money if the quality is bad. Thank you!!

I’d definitely skip them and check out H&M or Target if you want good basics. Forever 21 is astoundingly bad quality, and their sizing is really puzzling, especially their jeans. It’s like they design their clothes not to fit.

A lot of people are saying they’re bad quality but honestly the quality is hit or miss. Some of it is bad but I’ve found some items of decent quality as well.

March 17, 2025 - I work in a major thrift retailer and I can definitely say that anything from Forever 21 is just awful. The shirts feel thin and they're just in good enough condition for us to tag and put out on the floor. We end up pulling them when their time comes because they just don't sell smh. It's definitely for the better ... I am curious what your age is. I am in my early 30s and F21 was definitely thee place to shop in the early aughts for people my age. I haven’t stepped foot in there in over a decade though.. ... Same here (almost 31).
