Episode 11 focuses solely on Tan and Oil, so we are left in the middle of nowhere when it comes to Tin and Sea, after seeing the cute scene of Tin trying to do something to cheer Sea up.) With a title like "Friend Forever" (or "Friends Forever depending on the translation), one may wonder if there is going to be an awful ending in which everyone just remains friends.

Okay so I completed watched DFF and it was soooooo good overall. The plot, the storyline, the acting, the loophole in the end everything was top notch! DFF is not something which I will recommend it to other people since not everyone can handle the darkness which was shown in the series. As for me, I took so many long breaks in between before resuming it again. But if you are planning to watch it, THEN GO AHEAD! IT'S SO GOOD (but again yeah, with the great plot comes with a lot of darkness so proceed with cautions). And the way it altered my brain wires in the last scene where phee and jin are having a conversation and phee says "it's possible that we never came out of the house". IT WAS A HELLA GORGEOUS LINE WHICH TURNED THE WHOLE ENDING.
Special appreciation to Barcode for pulling off such a fabulous acting! My boy!<3
P.s- And yeah as someone already said that the only fault of White was that he loved the wrong person at the wrong time. ALSO I HAVE HEARD THAT HE IS IN 4MINTUES TOO!! I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE HIM WHEN I WILL START WATCHING 4MINTUES AHHHH!!

And that you enjoyed the ending because it's a bit divisive, but I liked it too! That sound of the lighter flick .. 🤌 chef's kiss 🤌 Barcode was so good and Mio Athens blew me away in particular. The actors who played Tee, Top and Tan are all in 4 Minutes too!

I was talking about this show today because I'm in the middle of watching it for the second time and it's so good. It's traumatizing for sure and it's definitely something you need to be in a certain mental state to process, but it is such a great show in terms of production, storytelling, acting etc etc It always blows me away how young most of the cast was when filming this show. Theyre all so talented

Currently on my twt feed, everything is so messed up because of what one of the actors said about the characters,
The comment section on MDL, is 😶
It has been like this for weeks tbh
It is reaffirming my position : Thai BL viewers aren't ready for morally questionable characters as leads
They also have the tendency to not be able to separate the characters from the actors.
I know I keep repeating myself, but I never thought BL viewers would be like this😅
Seriously guys, BL have always been light and fun for me, and I thought it was like this for everyone🤓
At this point, I think Thai screenwriters should be careful with the way they write their characters🤷♀️

I actually adore complex and dark characters. I'm just frustrated😅
I want MORE nuanced characters, but I have a feeling that many screenwriters will shy away from them, just because they are scared of their actors getting hate.

Honestly I agree with your position. BOC’s characters really don’t fit into boxes. It’s an acting industry, like any other. Take shows like HBO series for example, that are graphic with morally grey characters just like BOC’s, people still like them but not justify what they’ve done. And if anything, those actors get more praise for playing intense characters - & DFF’s actors deserve the same. I love how BOC productions can give us these more complex characters and I hope they keep going with these types, not let the hate affect them.

Hard disagree. The writers should continue to write the stories they want to write. No need to censor themselves for a bunch of Twitter kids that can't seperatly fact and fiction and need to touch grass. Fans have their own agency to stop watching something that isn't for them. From episode one, the tone was set for DFF that this wouldn't be a fluffy romance story with cute green flag characters. If they kept watching something they knew they wouldn't like, that's on them. I'm happy BOC is filling the hole on writing stories where LGBT+characters are a subplot of the storyline. I like that they are writing for an older audience, where the stories have a lot of nuisances with morally grey characters that are flawed and human.

This cover photo with tons of actors always catches me off guard. Maybe it was Covid restrictions, but the execution of this drama feels like theres only 4 characters most of the time. But I LOVE LeoTai. They have great chemistry and hopefully we see more from them.
