I have a decent sized box full of mags from the mid 2000's. Games from Halo to Gta being on the covers. Do people still read/ want them? Or are they just trash

Maybe down the road if and when GameStop kicks the bucket. The nature of what that magazine is probably going to hurt the value essentially it's advertisements not really associated heavily with one platform none of the reviewers became big names within the industry. Maybe you get an offer purely based on nostalgia. Good luck

Gaming magazines don't seem to have gotten mass collector interest, even ones from the 80s/90s. You see them individually listed quite expensive, but that likely a company or something hoping for the occasional bite. Theres also a lot of bundles that don't reach high bid prices at all. that said, who knows what will be valuable in the future. The nostalgia market is a very random one.

Personally im trying to collect some older Nintendo Power related rewards and magazines because they just released so much cool stuff and obviously its all worth something now. Gameinformer on the other hand im not sure about. Should i try and sell or should i just toss em?

I keep them, because they hold a sentimental value to me (I enjoy reading about modern games in a physical format, like I used to when I was younger). If they don't mean anything to you, then its time to pass them on to someone who will enjoy them. I think its not as much a case of monetary value, as much as "Do I enjoy this, and is it worth my valuable living space?". Based on your responses to earlier answers, I'd say you've got your mind set. Best of luck!

Don't toss them. If you can't sell them then drop them off at a local game shop or thrift shop for someone else to get.
