To the HR recruiter comparing you to someone else, they’re awesome. They don’t know the difference and Google is a recognizable name. Hubspot has free ones too. Interviewing for a director job at a $XXXM company and the HR recruiter explicitly commented on how many certificates I had. All that aside, you can learn some stuff too. I just refreshed mine yesterday. They’re essentially worthless for learning anything or actually knowing how to set up a campaign. They mostly just teach Google’s preferred way of spending money on their platform. But it keeps our agency’s Partner status and is sort of an expected thing to have in the PPC world. I did the google analytics for beginners and advanced. Took me about few hours each. It will show you the ins and outs of analytics. You won't become a master but you will have a basic understanding on how analytics work.
