Indian-American business executive, CEO of Google LLC & Alphabet Inc.
is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google and Alphabet Inc. He has held the position of CEO at Google since 2015, following his appointment as chief product officer by then-CEO Larry Page. In December 2019, he was named CEO of Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, succeeding Larry Page. Pichai began his career at Google in 2004, where he led product management and innovation for key products such as Google Chrome, ChromeOS, Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Maps. He has played a central role in advancing Alphabet’s artificial intelligence initiatives, including the development of Google Gemini, Waymo’s self-driving vehicles, and the expansion of Google Cloud and the Pixel smartphone line.
