August 23, 2024Can we all agree how useless Google Lens is?
Very very bad. It always try to give link to clothes shop links when there are people in the picture. Works more like ads search. I can no longer image search for multiple contexts/news/discussions with this garbage POS. More on reddit.com

May 10, 2023Is it just me, or is using google lens morally unacceptable?
I dunno if it's ethical or not but this has been happening for varying technologies over the last 10-20+ years. I feel old as shit saying this lol but I remember when the TI-84 calculators first came out and only the 'rich' students could afford it... people were asking the same question if it was morally unacceptable to let them use it (b/c it could do things regular cheap calculators couldn't) and then a few years later it became the norm/required. The same thing with any new technology like search engines etc etc., a recurring trend? I guess this time, it's no different. It will either be embraced or normalized sooner or later.
