How can I complete site verification in Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools) API version 3?

Search console should give you a few different options to do it.

  1. upload an html file they (GSC) provides

  2. verify with Google analytics code

I think there's more but can't remember off the top of my head. Add the site as a property to Google search console and go over the verification steps.
