August 12, 2023What are the drawbacks of using google sites? Why shouldn't a small business use it?
Apparently, lots of scams and malware get hosted there, and some social media platforms filter Google Sites links because of that. This may have changed over the last year, but I recall reddit being one such platform. On a sub I help run, those links would get spamfiltered so hard that I as a moderator wasn't allowed to approve them. When I tried, the site would instantly remove the links again a nanosecond later. Free isn't bad! I am curious if anyone else has had luck with Google Sites? I personally think it is a good project for simple sites, even better than some basic Wordpress themes. It would be so great to have your Google Sites OR get a dialogue of problems that occurs. I am sure some clients will request it because it's FREE.
