I hate that they dont state explicit numbers. Anyone know the daily limits on this plan? Not the supergrok heavy, just the regular supergrok $30 plan. Thanks

Now that Grok Imagine no longer needs premium, and anyone can use it, I want to know what is the limit that normal users can try to create videos when writing in grok imagine or choosing a photo on the device to create video? And when this limit ends. Just wait 1 hour or 2 hours or 10 hours or 1 day to reset the limits and use again?

I've been following the recent changes to Grok Imagine. While I find the new restrictions on NSFW content a bit too strict and somewhat against the very core idea they advertised at launch, which was freedom of imagination (hence the name “Grok Imagine”), but since I mostly use it for work-related content, what I generate is always SFW. Because of that, the moderation changes didn’t really affect me… until now.

The limitation of only 15 “attempts” per day (I say “attempts” because it doesn’t always guarantee a result), with a roughly 20-hour cooldown, is a real buzzkill.
Sure, I could create more accounts to get around it, but that would mean re-uploading tons of project materials and starting everything from scratch. That’s way more inconvenient than you might think.

Grok Premium isn’t cheap or it’s at least on par with many other tools in the market right now. If I have to pay anyway, I might as well choose something else, like Kling, Veo, or even invest in a decent PC setup to run models locally. It might cost more, but the results could easily surpass whatever Grok can generate at this point. (It used to be really good, imo.)

Grok is slowly killing off the advantages it once had over other AI tools: it was free, generous to free users, and had a softer, less restrictive NSFW filter. Now, 2 out of 3 are gone and could be 3 strikes soon. So, instead of a home run, they’re striking out.

So, if any of the xAI team members are lurking around here… please, cut us some slack. Thank you!

It seems that Elon Musk is becoming generous for the first time in years since not only has he released Grok 4 Free (although originally, unfairly, you had to pay to use this new model) but also Imagine the version of Grok to create images and videos with sound (almost at the level of Veo 3) has finally also come out free which is something for which we must thank Elon Musk a lot for these free samples of generosity

So I am reached as supergrok user my imagin Limit After an Hour arround 9:00am. Now its 4pm and I am stilll on Limit and and I am only able to create on by one pic2video. When its the reset?
