Ok so Guardian did their top 20 songs of the year and half of the songs are from people you’ve never heard of and not ONE song from her is here.

Anyone else mad at this or just me? Because the existence of this article implies that all 20+ of these songs are better than the entirety of TTPD and it feels like an insult.

Well, if you haven’t heard it, how do you know it’s not deserving? There’s a lot of great music on this list, and highlighting lesser known artists like Yaeji and putting them in conversation with artists like Kendrick and Gaga is important. Taylor is doing just fine and it’s boring if everyone has the same taste.
