July 16, 2023 - 3.6 amps but larger than a modern 8" grinder. I love old tools like this. I'd do a full resto on it and give it another 100 years of service life. ... This will make a really cool restoration project. Nice find. ... Nothing wrong with Old tools. In some cases, they are better than brand new. Just clean'er up and start working with it... ... WEN, Bauer and Hart have bench grinders for a few bucks over $50.

Went to Walmart the other day and noticed a bunch of brand new aisles. They had some new stylish looking tools everything from a razor blade to cordless drills and more.
Looking at the brand I never heard of it before and got me slightly interested. It was a nice looking blue and white color combo which made me immediately assume Walmart is making some knock off garbage they’ll sell to us and will fail in a week of use.
However I was still curious and after just a quick google search I found out that HART tools is made by TTI the same company that makes Milwaukee tools and some other brands.
So this got me really interested and wondering if anyone has used anything by HART yet? And if you have what’s your experience with them been?

Hart isn't new; it's an older company that made hammers and carpentry tools until the 2000's or so. Very high quality stuff, and every bit as good as Vaughn. Now it's yet another brand of tools marketed with price as the #1 sales point. It's going to be in the same class as Black & Decker, Porter Cable, Craftsman, Kobalt, etc. It might work for you and it might not. My biggest concern is battery life and company life. I *think* they are Walmart exclusive, so if Walmart dumps them, you'll never get a replacement battery. In that price category, I'd probably go with Ryobi. They have a solid reputation for low price, reasonable performance and they stick to a battery platform for ages.
