I’m on the hunt for some cute mid century modern dining chairs - but all the cute ones have a max weight capacity like 250lbs! My husband and family are plus size so i want a space they can enjoy when they come over and sit at my kitchen table.
I love those velvet dining chairs with the skinny legs but know those can’t hold up . If anyone could help that would be great! I need 4 dining chairs / preferred some type of soft material (velvet or something - I want to be super comfy at the table)
Would like to spend up to or around $1000 on 4 chairs and have a max weight capacity of 500 lbs.
I have guests coming soon and realized my dining chairs only support up to 275 lbs. one guest is 300 and will be staying for 5 days. Any ideas what kind of chair would work for this or how to borrow one asap?
Update in case anyone sees this post: they worked fine
If you’re gonna judge this is not the post for you. I am in the process of buying a house, fortunately for us it comes with a dining room table!! I am concerned because I have a few friends that are 400+ pounds and I don’t think the chairs are suitable for them. I’ve looked and looked to try to find a chair that doesn’t have a weight limit of 350 and under with no luck. I want my friends to be comfortable in my house. And personally I’d prefer the vintage dining room table set to not have steel chairs at it lol. Does anyone have loved ones who are bigger or is personally bigger and has dining room table chairs they trust!! This comes from a place of love and wanting to host my friend comfortably so please don’t be rude I love them.
Please help me find dining room chairs to hold guests up to 450 lbs. I want my family and friends to feel comfortable and not have to use my outdoor chairs. I would prefer they cost under $200 per chair, please. Even better if they do not have fabric as I also have young kids.
