I am looking for a good new mattress that is Medium firmness twin for a side sleeper. Should I get one with helix or just get something at living spaces.
(sorry forgot to mention that I can’t stand the feel of coils and often shift in my sleep. Is there a way to filter those in the helix website?)
Getting a helix & have a question for any helix sleep mattress owners or former owners. On the website it says that a regular box spring isn't sufficient for the mattress because the space between the boxspring slats are wider than 4" & won't adequately support the bed.
My Q is what did you do to provide support for the bed?
Only solutions I'm seeing right now are plywood over current boxspring or getting a bunkie board (which looks like little more than glorified fabric covered plywood) or a platform bed, which isn't an option for us. We want to keep the height of the bed similar to standard mattress & boxspring combo so we're currently leaning toward the plywood option. If anyone can point me in a better direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
