My husband and I are looking into a new mattress and he likes the Helix. Is it a quality mattress? Does it last? Our current mattress was purchased 4 years ago through Marriott (I think the brand is Jamison) and it is totally sagging junk. I want a quality mattress that will last at least 10 years. Thanks!

Are they on the helix dealer locator? If so, probably legit. If not, probably selling sketch product. Normally you can get a better deal on the online brands in store, nothing odd about that. As far as not knowing about the beds, a lot of places don’t have great training departments. Or maybe helix was new to them and they haven’t had training yet. More on reddit.com

I’m not well versed in mattresses, but my husband and I bought a Helix Luxe Midnight w cooling top two years ago and have been very happy with it. I have quite a bit of lower back pain from an old injury, and while I didn’t notice an improvement or anything, I do sleep comfortably most nights and when I don’t it’s not the mattress. I had a great experience with Helix and their customer service. There are a few makers that offer a trial greater than 120 days, but they are few and far between. As a heads up I did return it because the midnight was too firm and too hot for me, but there was no evidence of any type of failure at all or degradation and I was 6'3 225 when i tried it. Almost every mattress has a complaint or three on this forum - period. Every, single one. I am sorry about your experience - and I am noting that I am a side sleeper, heavier than you, and felt that mine was too firm - mattresses are so very subjective that it is hard to decide. I'd almost suggest just reaching out to them again politely you may get lucky and get a more friendly rep who can help you navigate this. More on reddit.com

Just as my title states, I walked into a store that sells a lot more than mattresses and they had quite a few different. BIAB brands. They happen to have a helix mattress. I was looking for in stock in a box. Again, they are a legitimate showroom, but I did not get the vibe that they should be selling these and even if it’s legitimate, which I think it is, they had trouble answering questions about warranty delivery and returns.
My guess, is they’re selling their own showroom stock. This one was still in the box. I am desperate for a mattress and I almost bought it, but I figured one more night and asking online might be the more prudent way of approaching it.
They were even willing to give me a discount which seemed even stranger.
