I actually just took advantage of that deal. And imo you're better off going full bore (4 items for 1k off). We ended up getting a fridge, freezer, stove, and otr microwave for about 2200. The "ain't make em like they used to" rule can apply, but for the most part those old appliances use a significant amount of energy more than the new. You might even be able to get more rebates if they're energystar rated. If you're planning on updating/replacing them soon anyway, I'd say take advantage. Answer from LatRaiser on reddit.com
