February 7, 2025 - The film was originally scheduled for a August 16, 2024 release. However after the commercial failure of Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 (2024), New Line Cinema removed its sequel from its original release date, delaying it indefinitely.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Chapter 2 will no longer get a theatrical release in August. Originally expected to land in cinemas on August 16, the film will now forsake that release and seemingly be indefinitely delayed for the time being.
