I see a lot of posts expressing disappointment from the sactionals but nothing on the beanbags. Am I just doing it wrong or are they pretty underwhelming? I bought the moviesac and let it expand for 3 days after rotating and fluffing regularly. It just feels clumpy and not nearly as comfortable as I'd hoped for a $1200 beanbag.
The cover is actually phenomenal and I love it, but the stuffing kinda sucks imo.
Any tips or suggestions to improve this or should I just return it?

I feel the same to be honest about my supersac. I've sat on a friend's older one prior to purchasing, but that one seemed to hold it's shape for longer and be more comfortable overall. I've had mine for about a week and can't sit on it for longer than an hour without needing to re-fluff. I want to love it, not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

I think they offer an extra bag of fluff for free still, you just have to call and request it. They do tend to get more comfortable when they're more broken in, but it's been a couple of years since I've sat in one, too.

Please let me begin this post by saying that this is not a hate post: this post is about being blown away by current prices. 10 years ago I bough a movie sac bundled with a sport cover for 230 dollars. It’s been the best piece of furniture we have ever had and I’m quite happy with it. Today a friend of mine finally moved to a bigger place and asked about my “bean bag, how much she loves it whenever she comes to visit and how she wants to get one” and I kindly told her “it’s not a bean bag it’s a love sac, and I paid around 230 dollars, bear in mind it was 10 years ago it must have gone up in price” a few hours later she replies with “2000 + dollars? Did you buy it used? No way it costs that much and you paid 200 usd” I could not believe her so I visited the page and to my surprise, she was right. What happened? I mean; like I said we love our movie sac but I’m not sure it’s worth 2000+ dollars Is it a different movie sac from the one I bought 10 years ago? Was the company sold and someone revamped it and jacked up the prices? Really curious on why the price difference

I thought your 2011 $230 bundle price was mis-remembered, so I looked up a ten year old blog. An advertised on sale movie sac bundle was $649. So I don't know, it is possible, perhaps you got an amazing deal ten years ago? Today, I see movie sac bundles on sale at the Lovesac website from $787 to $1,032. Far from the "$2,000+". So, I would have to reject your premise as at least severely overstated. But to answer your last questions, the company did go thru a bankruptcy, emerged and has grown stronger. Original founder is still the CEO. Stock is doing well. (Maybe too well). Lovesac is not outrageously profitable. With brick and mortar stores, and the quality of their products, they need to be more expensive than their competitors. Are their products worth the extra cost? So far, customers are voting "yes". My family has bought over $20K of sactionals this year. Also bought some outrageously expensive Amish hickory furniture... dining room table, chairs and barstools. Dude, you're absolutely correct. I too bought a movie sac bundle with blanket and foot rest and paid about $220-300. Now that same combo is selling for $1400, what a crock of shit lol. I love my love sac it no way in hell I'd pay more than $500 for all of that today, let alone $1400. America has fucked the average consumer.
