Just got my job offer after a 5-minute phone interview. My hours would be 9 PM-8 AM, and she said I'd make 15.50 for 40 hours a week. What do you think? Minimum wage in my state is $13, and I have prior job experience.
I've never worked at a Walmart before, so any advice is appreciated.
What is the pay for job titles similar to Overnight Stocker at Walmart?
What is the pay for job titles similar to Stocker at Walmart?
What is the salary for a Overnight Stocker at Walmart per month?
I'm about to start stocking from 4am - 1pm at 17 an hour. I was wondering what everyone else is getting paid.
I'm from southern California by the way.
So, basically, I got an email about the job offer in my email, saying
compensation:
Your hourly rate of pay is $17.00.
differentials:
shift differentials: $1.50
Work credit: $0.00
total compensation: $18.50
but then on the walmart@me app, it says this 8.00 hr thing on the top right of each day schedule.

so does this mean my pay is 17$ per hour, like it should be or does this mean it’s 8? Or does the app 8.00hr thing mean something else, or? Because if it really is saying 8$ an hour for 9 hours of stocking work *overnight* then that’s crazy. because for that I have to figure out and pretty much ruin a chunk of my sleep schedule, then miss parts of the days with sleeping, have a 15min walk to the store during the night, etc.
if this is true then I have no idea how to even contact someone about it. Tonight is my first night and I don’t really know who I talk to still or what numbers I could call etc. 17$ for overnighting sounds very fair for me so I hope the email was accurate, but it did seem like it said below that it could like change or something.
