My mother got a new phone and I am helping her activate it online, but it's taking over 20 minutes now. Do employees manually activate it from their ends? I also tried to talk to them but it seems like they have "high call volume" or whatever.
EDIT: The moron that i wasted over an hour and half over Cricket chat told me that I have to buy sim card from walmart because there is an error in activation. I told him no because we are not paying extra when we already spent 90 buck. By the way, I assumed her old phone was 3G but it turned out it is 4G? Is Cricket really discontinuing 4G?
Edit 2: Just moved the old SIM card to the new phone and it worked.
