March 28, 2023 - Anyway all I did was add an email and it finally let me reset my password ... Login to facebook messenger on another iphone (preferably older) and then change password. You can also remove/change emails as well.
How do you guys recover a previous facebook password?
I'm not sure how helpful I'll be, but... Can you change your password by using email instead of phone number? I know when I tried to change my amazon password, it said it was sending a code to my phone and I received nothing after several tries. My phone number was correct on my account as well. I don't know what the fb screen looks like, but is there something like "try another way?" More on reddit.com
