You need a 12V power supply big enough to handle the current draw. Figure out the wattage per meter, then use that to figure out the current your strip will draw at full power. Some power supplies will have screw down terminals, so you'll just put those red (+) and black (-) wires in the corresponding slots and it should be good to go. Others will use a barrel connector, in which case you can get a screw-down barrel connector to fit and attach the wires to that. It's the only light strip that perfectly fits my requirements. I'm looking at purchasing this LED light strip: https://www.amazon.co.uk/MARSWALLED-Daylight-Non-waterproof-EF120-140lm-Photography/dp/B07G79WKM7
It's the only light strip that perfectly fits my requirements. But unlike some of the other light strips available on Amazon, it doesn't seem to have a direct connection to the mains power. It just has red and black cables coming out of the strip instead.
I'm a bit confused about how to connect this up with the mains without soldering. From my research, it seems like an LED driver might be what I'm after? But it's not clear. As you can probably tell, I don't have any understanding of electrical circuits etc.
Would anyone be so kind as to explain in layman's terms how to do this in an idiot proof way? Product recommendations would be welcomed :)

The strips you linked run on 12v so you'll need a 12v power-supply to power them, you absolutely don't want to hook them directly to the mains. According to the spec's provided 5m of the strip will draw 60w so you'll need a 5 Amp (or more) power supply (60w / 12v = 5a). I'd recommend up speccing your power supply as running them on full load isn't recommended, typically you should go for one that can provide 125% of your maximum load so a 6 or 7 Amp power supply would be ideal. As to connecting your power supply to the strips, most power-supply terminate with a barrel jack connector you can search amazon or Ebay for barrel jack to screw terminal adaptors, bare in mind these come in different sizes so get one that fits your power-supply. If you get a powersupply that has screw terminals already you can use wago connectors as a solderless connection
