okay so netflix switches from a standalone app to a web wrapper. cool, you want it to be easier for the devs, i get that. but at least figure a way to keep download support. is there any crazy web extension or something that i could use to bring it back? im not interested in pirating and the old version doesn't work anymore.

Wow, I didn't know this. I have been using tablet and phone when watching Netflix on the go and on travel. Luckily this doesn't affect me. But the trend is not positive. Increase prices, simplify the app to using browser wrapper, and lose features.
