Not only you. It happens to me too. And it happens on Mac book pro and iPad pad pro.

The solutions I’ve tried include looking in my passwords; no solution provided. Other solution includes backspacing on that website looking at history, taking a picture of the password (The problem with that is I can never get a full picture of the password as it fades in the field).

I believe that it’s due to the different URLs that the webpage is used when creating a pass. Often I have to go to my gmail to authenticate The password, and then I am directed to a different URL. And then everything is messed up.

What I’m doing is using a password that’s real simple to create an account. Once the account is created I go in and reset the password with the strong password and it seems to work.

How do you find recently generated passwords on iphone?

This was available in iOS 17. iOS 18 removed that capability by design.

Since the update to iPadOS 18 some newly … - Apple Community
I am on an iPad Air running iPadOS 18.2.1. 456 3 ... I have a similar problem, however even if I use a generated password by pressing the fill and save button, it doesn’t update the password in the password app, so when I try to log into website afterwards ,it auto fills my old saved password instead of the new one. if I go into passwords I can find the new auto generated password under the title of recently generated passwords, I then have to copy it, paste into website and then I get the box confirmation to update password in keychain.

January 26, 2018 - If it's not saved in Keychain then unfortunately no. You will need to use the site's reset password function and this time note any Safari created password or create your own strong password.

r/iphone on Reddit: Is it possible to see previous passwords saved in safari for a website?
July 29, 2024 -

I had my dmv site password saved in safari but it expired, so when I was setting up a new password I let my phone automatically fill in the old password and put in a new password. I accidentally saved it when the system asked if I wanted to save the new password for the site, and but the new password was rejected by dmv for being too long. So now I can't log in to properly change it bc I don't know my previous password and the system saved the bad password. I should've looked at the password as I set this up instead of letting it fill it out automatically. Is there a way to go back and see the previous password? Because now I can't get into my dmv account at all
