Hi, dumping excess steam in the Turbine is problematic for water supply to the Fission Reactor.

The Industrial Turbine multiblock structure is used to produce power from steam. Ideally, the steam is generated by a fission reactor directly, or by heating up water in the Thermoelectric Boiler with superheated sodium produced by a fission reactor. Another integral use of the structure is ...

Feeding sufficient amounts of water to a powerful generator such as a Fusion Reactor is extraordinarily difficult using only Mekanism, which can only generate water using Electric Pumps. Therefore it is typically best to return water back to the generator, forming a closed loop. As Industrial Turbines can reclaim enormous quantities of water, transporting it at sufficient speeds can be a challenge.

Mekanism Wind Turbine Output?? | Feed The Beast - FTB Forum
August 18, 2014 - The third is the maximum power it can output per tick. That is the better way to do it; I use custom recipes instead of lowering output. All generators should be multiblocks IMO; it would increase the cost and add space as a resource. For example, I prefer Mekanism over IC2 because the wind turbine and solar panels both look better and more realistic in Mekanism and require more space.

Hello modded friends,

I have made a video you can find here about a problem I have had to solve on my own, where the turbine would stop taking in steam and make the reactor explode if the battery got to 100%. I could not find a tutorial anywhere which had a solution to the problem. I have, through a lot of tinkering and about 3 days of work, figured out a sleek and rather simple way to turn off the reactor when the turbine battery reaches a certain set value. I have seen a lot of users in other threads having this issue aswell and not figuring it out so I hope this helps some people. If there are any questions or things that are unclear feel free to post a comment and I will try to answer them :)

Industrial Turbine · Issue #6008 · mekanism/Mekanism
March 30, 2020 - the universal power cable does not connect to the turbine valve. i tried using the configurator to force it but it still will not connect. the turbine itself sparkled red and i can open the turbine stats and production menu and the pressurized tube im using for steam also connects to the other valve i have correctly. also, likely unrelated, im using a reactor to supply steam, but once the turbine fills with steam it stops producing and just sits there, setting from idle to dumping excess does not resolve this. the build contains 8 blades, 5 coils, 8 dispersers, and 33 vents. Forge: 31.1.23 Mekanism: 9.9.16.408 Other relevant version: 1.15.2

Wind Generator - Official Mekanism Wiki
This content is only available with Mekanism: Generators installed. A Wind Turbine's giant blades harness the force of the wind to generate power. Each Wind Turbine requires a small 1x5x1 area (horizontally one block). The machine will generate the same power day and night, in sun or rain, but the turbine must have a clear view of the sky (over the rotor housing at the top of the tower). The power output ...

r/feedthebeast on Reddit: Energy doesn't come out of Mekanism's Turbine
December 14, 2019 -

Hello

So i built Turbine to compensate my Fusion Reactor heat and I was pretty happy lurning turbine produce a good amount of energy.

My only issue here is that even if i put cables with a Dimensional Transceiver that go directly in my Induction Matrix, energy doesn't come out of the turbines.

I checked, the chunk are updated, my dimensional transceiver is supposed to work because all the others are working.

I tested to put energy cube on the output and the energy goes into them, but the turbine still is at 1.43/1.44GRF

anyway, does anybody have a solution?

I have a reactor connected to a steam turbine, but the problem is that it makes too much energy, I could keep upgrading, and making a bigger and bigger matrix core, but thats just a temporal solution, and with no way to drain energy fast enough, my reactor will keep shutting down. So any way to drain energy fast?

Using turbine + fission reactor to make polonium, but whenever my battery fills and my turbine fills it stops producing water so i have to turn my reactor off, but then that means i stop producing polonium

currently i just dumped all my power into 2 heaters set to the max and it works fine, however i would like a batter way of dumping power (if there is any)

i would make a better battery but im running dangerously low on compressed diamonds and obsidian

February 10, 2024 - ...okay, that's only partially true, but I build my reactors/turbines to be so massive that the energy output is insanely high to the point where it will already need a let-off valve, so what I actually do is hook the turbine up to my flux network directly and have something I call a "ground node" which is just a flux point set to zero priority (I have all the other ones at 1 or higher) hooked up to an energy void so that I don't overload the turbine
