Set up "Payee" you only have to Set it up once...I did it in person a long time ago. Check if the TD App has it.... it should. Funny I use RBC credit Card and I wanted to use TD chequing account to pay off my credit card....I just pay off the credit card anytime as I please from my TD mobile app. "Pay bills" now section once you enter your credit card number as a "Payee"

Context: I'm new to Canada, and in my home country it works differently
So, I have accounts in Wealthsimple, RBC, and Scotiabank, and I have credit cards from RBC and Scotiabank.
I'm planning to get a CIBC card, but I'd like to know how I can do that without creating a checking account.
Today, to pay my cards, I would send money from Wealthsimple to my RBC/Scotiabank checking account, and then from that, I pay the credit card.
Now, how can I do that without a checking account? Is it possible to e-transfer directly to the CC?
Note that I usually pay my CC a bit before the due date to help with a good credit score, I also use a lot of CC for cashbacks

Use the "bill payment" feature in your online account at any bank. From there you can pay any credit card, from any bank. It'll ask you which company you're trying to pay and you will search for it, like "CIBC Mastercard". Then for the account number you put in your credit card number. Once you setup the payee, you can send bill payments there. It takes a couple days for it to show up on your credit card, so make sure you send the payment at least a couple days before the due date. In Wealthsimple, for example, when you're looking at your cash account in the app, there's a button called "Pay a bill". That's what you use.
