Does anyone know if affiliate links from Amazon, when they are clicked from a mobile browser, when they open up the Amazon app that a person has on their phone, does the affiliate still get the credit? Obviously you can't tell if your code is there because the person is using an app and not the browser. So I hope I can still get rewarded even though links lead some people (esp iPhone users) to open the Amazon app.

To my knowledge sales on mobile are tracked regardless if the customer uses the App or just their mobile browser; this should also work if they put something in their cart on mobile and order it from their browser at home. I'm by far no expert in this, but imo there seem to be some possibilities for "lost cookies": 1) When someone clicks on your link on mobile, but then decides to order from home without putting something in their cart first or 2) if the user set his preference for mobile links to open in the browser instead of the app, but then decides to close the browser anyway and to manually open the App to make the purchase since they have their payment info saved there.

If you are a developer create a simple webview that passes in your url (one you haven't used before) and open up it up and see if it registers in your affiliate reports panel as a hit. You could also do it with an Intent and open the Amazon App and try the same. I can't see why it wouldn't work but if you're not a developer then I'll create something later.

you will automatically be accepted into the amazon programs - you need to make 3 sales within the first 6 months to continue with the program after that, at which point they will do an audit of your client facing material (ie, website).

You need to have a decent website setup. You need to make at least three (3) qualifying sales within the first 180 days of signing up. If you don’t meet this requirement, Amazon will close your account, but you can reapply in the future.
