What's your tag setup and where are you checking if the purchase tag fired or not? You said you haven't linked anything in GTM but what about inside the platform? For eg, in Shopify, conversion data is sent to Facebook by the 'Facebook & Instagram' sales channel. More on reddit.com

Hi, it depends on what and how the tags are configured on gtm. Check the gtm container, and if that container is the right one on the site, or if there are more container being implemented. Check the tag firing rule, what tag needs to be fired on what rule and what page. More on reddit.com

I don't use analytics very often but I've been trying to figure something out and I wanted to make sure everything was working properly but when I check in with Tag Assistant it connects to the site but says there are 0 tags found. I've confirmed that the snippets are installed properly on the site and in Tag Manager the Tag Coverage says the pages are tagged. How do I get the Tag Assistant to recognize the tags?

Hello,
I created a purchase tag in GTM, but when I test the event, it doesn't fire on the checkout page, nor does it trigger the purchase tag. Additionally, the purchase events I test in GTM are being recorded in the live Facebook ads campaign, even though I haven’t linked any Google product with Facebook services. I also use different browsers for Google and Facebook ads. Can anybody guide? I'm new to google ads.

Does your website have the dataLayer set up? How did you set it up—did you use Shopify's latest update on Checkout Extensibility? Also, did you include the necessary information in the Google Ads Purchase Tag? For the Facebook pixel, did you use the Facebook app? Checking all of this might lead you to a solution.
