A contractor purchased the floating Tannforsen vanity and installed it. I picked it out. This was an insurance claim for previous water damage. It lasted a month or two but yesterday it fell out of the wall. This is the bathroom that my two year-old daughter uses. If it would’ve fallen on her, it could’ve killed her. I opened up a case with IKEA, but I’m not quite sure what I should ask for. Any ideas. It also damaged the wall. The contractor who installed it is going to reinstall and we are going to add legs. I’m mad at IKEA and I think this product should be recalled.
i'm trying to replace an existing bathroom vanity with a new one. For anyone whose purchased vanities from IKEA before, how has yours held up & how are the ones at IKEA compared to the ones they sell at Home Depot and Lowes? Also:
i was at IKEA the other day and noticed that their sinks have only one pre-drilled hole for the faucet. Is it possible to drill additional holes and install a wide spread or 4" faucet?
does this vanity comes with a toe kit/space at the bottom?
