Bathroom Vanities & Vanity Cabinets - IKEA CA
By placing a vanity under your sink, you get great storage without stealing valuable floor space. On top of that, it's a nice way to cover pipes that often tend to look a tad bit dull.

I have a Godmorgen vanity in dark brown that was installed in like, 2014? Ikea sinktop as well. It’s held up great. It’s not wood, I don’t think! I initially bought the legs, but changed my mind and its floating. We installed it by putting additional wood board on top of the drywall so we could get support from studs. More on reddit.com
Installing a wall mounted Ikea bathroom vanity
Use a low-profile metal french cleat setup. If you can catch two studs with the cleat on the wall you'll be fine. Make the cleat on the wall a few inches short so you can adjust the vanity a bit either way to get it centered. You can drive a screw or two through the vanity to make sure it doesn't pop off the cleat. More on reddit.com
Ikea bathroom vanity - durable over the long term?
I installed the smaller version of the IKEA Hemnes about 2 years ago. Still looks new. The sink top feels great and cleans nicely since it is all porcelain. Didn’t care for the drawer pulls but those are easy to replace. My wife loves the large drawers. The biggest trouble we had with it is that the plumbing for the drain is very unique (needed for the large drawers) and can be difficult to retrofit into existing drains. We had to make many trips the hardware stores to find the right combo of couplers and washers to make it water tight. I will admit we also used a large amount of putty as well. I also worry about replacement parts since they are very unique. But we still love the sink and has made my wife very happy. More on reddit.com
I have to install an IKEA bathroom sink with the weird Ikea plumbing. Would either setup work? Is there a better solution that keeps the sink and vanity?
I think I've plumbed a sink on these same Ikea cabinets and it was a bit of a creative solution. IIRC, I made sure all my drain was tucked behind the drawer as you're trying to achieve in pic 1. Keep the weird Ikea drain until it 90s down, discard the p trap that comes with it. You should be able to find a sink drain coupler that will fit snug on that pipe (buy them all or take the pipe to the store). From this point on it's all abs. Keep the 90 out of the wall, drop a ptrap below and feed your sink into your ptrap. More on reddit.com

Ikea Floating Vanity Hack
... Even I can barely believe this is an Ikea Godmorgon hack. A lot of thought went into why I chose to use an Ikea Godmorgon cabinet vs a prebuilt or custom vanity. Even more thought went into planning out the aesthetic details to turn it into this custom piece.

i'm trying to replace an existing bathroom vanity with a new one. For anyone whose purchased vanities from IKEA before, how has yours held up & how are the ones at IKEA compared to the ones they sell at Home Depot and Lowes? Also:
i was at IKEA the other day and noticed that their sinks have only one pre-drilled hole for the faucet. Is it possible to drill additional holes and install a wide spread or 4" faucet?
does this vanity comes with a toe kit/space at the bottom?

I did not see anything on the website.

We purchased this vanity about 6 months ago. I love it. It was the only option we could find for our space and budget. I am thrilled to have a solid wood vanity that will last a long time. I love the Odensvik sink we put on the top. Having the open space under the vanity seemed a bit odd at first, but I like it. If we were to have a broken pipe or water overflow from the tub or toilet, it won't damage the base of the vanity. We had a vanity in a laundry room that was ruined when the washer overflowed. Water ran under the vanity, was soaked up by the particle board base, and it went moldy. I've lived in over 20 houses and seen more than my fair share of water damaged bathroom vanities. Most vanities that you will find at big box stores are made with particle board and MDF. Neither do well with water. After gutting half of our bathroom because of water damage, I was not keen on putting in something that would not last. I can't speak with any authority on drilling holes in ceramic, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work. I didn't really care for the faucet choices at IKEA, but decided I didn't want to try to make something else work. We have the Dalskar, and it works well, plus it's easy to clean.

Floating Bathroom Sink Vanity Ikea | TikTok
5 days ago - I made a floating bathroom vanity from IKEA kitchen cabinets. I wanted a floating cabinet that fit exactly in my bathroom space to maximize the counter space. But the IKEA vanity cabinets available at the time were not going to work. So I literally hacked IKEA kitchen cabinets to pieces to do this project.
