For anyone that stumbles across this post - I have a full size mattress on top of this Hemnes daybed frame and it works perfectly! Have been using this for at least 4 years daily. Don’t be afraid to try it! There are no weird spaces , as the bed frame can roll out, so you can make it custom to fit exactly the width of the full size mattress! More on reddit.com

We’ve moved and reassembled our hemnes twice, and other than the inner metal supports getting trickier to thread, never had any issues. We actually just upgraded to a king-sized hemnes because we liked our old one so much. If you break it down carefully, keep track of all the hardware and move it gingerly, you shouldn’t have a problem. More on reddit.com

We're planning to use it mainly as a sofa in the living room. I have read more negative reviews when it is used a queen/king size bed. I want to hear some positive reviews too! Well, negative reviews are still welcome before we spend our money with this furniture.

Had one for 2 years now. No issues at all, quite comfortable but make sure to invest in mattresses. Building for me was physically a little hard but not complicated. I have moved with it as well and didn't have issues disassembling and reassembling it.

If you have the right mattress(es), it’s perfectly comfortable as a full bed! I’ve slept on it for at most one week in a row. Would not use it every night probably

Hi! The bed frame I have is the white HEMNES daybed with 3 drawers, TWIN . Here is the link:

This bed has a layer that can roll out and I'm thinking of putting a full bed and keeping it extended (instead of just using it as a twin bed). Has anyone had any success with doing something like this / know if it would work? Thanks

Perfectly ok to do as long as you're fine with not being able to use the daybed function to the fullest extent. You'd be surprised with how many people do this instead of stacking the twins.
