May 15, 2025Thoughts on the Tarva?
My husband and I bought ours 2 years ago. Queen sized with a beam in the middle and coupled with a Tempurpedic mattress and boxspring we already had. The bed has been awesome! No sinking (we do have boxes underneath, they are not scraping), all the screws are still tight (I checked recently), and it's very solid/sturdy. I would recommend it for sure. The only sound, a light squeak, comes from the box spring, because it slides a little. I read a simple bit of bunched up fabric on the end will get rid of that, but it hasn't bothered me enough to try it. I like to sit up and read in bed and the back is sturdy enough for that, too. December 19, 2023 - Got partway done assembling my new Tarva bed frame, and discovered they didn't include enough little dowel pegs because whoever wrote the manual can't count. They're used in multiple places, but the spot in the image shown is the culprit. That step uses 8 pieces per side, not 8 for the whole step.

So... we were looking at the Tarva tonight, and had almost decided to pull the trigger, when I had the idea to take a look at the reviews.
Many of the reviews for the Tarva bed frame say that it sinks in the middle, that the center support beam ends up lower than the sides, low enough to scrape against under-bed boxes. One of the reviewers said that she was able to rectify the problem with a 2x4, but the mixed reviews have definitely caused us to take a longer look before buying.
Interestingly, the bad reviews seem to come from couples, the good reviews seem to come from single people -does/will the Tarva bedframe, in fact, support the weight of two medium-sized people (less than 350 lbs total weight)? Do any couples have experience or insight with the Tarva that they'd care to share?
Are there any hacks or suggestions to mitigate the middle sink? I have noticed that there seems to be no shortage of support here in redditland for the Tarva, so there's that...

i’ve had this bed frame for over a year and love the look of it! however, i noticed my mattress sank in the middle and thought it was just because it was an old mattress. So I ended up buying a new mattress but it still continues to sink in the middle.
The slats that came with Luroy are curved, so i’m wondering if that’s the problem? or is it because the metal sides are higher than the center beam where the bed goes?
Anyone else ever have this issue?

Which way are the slats curved? They are designed to be curved up, if they are curved down they are installed incorrectly. Also, the center beam should be at the same height as the rails at the side, that's definitely installed incorrectly.
