Avatar: The Way of Water in Dolby Cinema 3D 1.85 Review vs. non-laser Xenon IMAX
Agreed that the whole movie should've been in HFR. Have standard frame rate screenings as an option as well for people who want it. Hopefully Cameron does this for Avatar 3.
I watched in IMAX laser (single, not dual). I watched the Avatar 1 re-release in the very same theater and thought it was superb, but somehow the screen seemed rather dark with the sequel (the screen looked great during the 2D previews). Also I could tell that my glasses were smudged; doesn't seem like they're doing a good job of cleaning these things.
Going to watch again but in Dolby Cinema in a week or two; hope the image quality is better. In any case I still enjoyed the movie. Thanks for your review.

I’m planning to go watch Dune Part two and was wondering what is the best IMAX in Toronto. I feel like. Lot of theatres say imax but they all are different to one another, so one (or a few) has to be the best
