October 31, 2014What do yall think of upcoming film ISS?
The concept will be sold on how good the script and acting is. To believe professional astronauts and cosmonauts would put their own survival at risk for emotions or nationalist pride is a tough sell. I'll take this as popcorn sci-fi and not take it too seriously. Hopefully there's some good action sequences to keep it moving at a good pace. Not sure I'll bother with the cinema though. It's about Russians and Americans working together on the International Space Station until on Earth a nuclear war breaks out. I thought the premise was super interesting and seeing how politically different people working together. I disliked how it just became a boring thriller where they fight each other and the Russian character is portrayed as distrust worthy . I thought a slow burn would be much more fun and philosophical

Based on description of the plot on wikipedia, it is crap, not worth watching and I could write better story than that script.

I. S. S. The initials stand for the International Space Station. I liked watching the shots of the station fly in its orbit around the Earth because a few years ago, I got to see it fly by over Houston while I was running before 6 am. It was absolutely beautiful to see. And it was beautiful to see, in the movie, how the station works as scientists from the US and Russia work together, share their cultures, and their languages.
