We have four regular iPads in the house, 7th and 9th gens, and all of the users are either a child, or an older person. So, they all just have a hard plastic, 2-piece case with a kick stand, as they are mostly used for media. I have a Pro, but I prefer the same type of case, something protective, with a kick stand. I personally prefer the Unicorn Beetle made by Supcase, but there isn’t one for the new Pro yet. I don’t use a keyboard of any kind, not a Pencil, and I honestly wish there were more case options (for the Air and Pro, at least) that didn’t have a pencil holder slot built in, I would prefer that area just be filled. For a 7th gen, you have an absolute ton of options, so basically just go on Amazon, find the type of case you want, and then pick the one you like the look of most. I only use either thin hard plastic or rubber, or thick 2-piece hard plastic armor. I hate folio cases, that’s just me. Answer from Lordelohim on reddit.com
