I'm having trouble finding deals that aren't contingent on having an unlimited plan. Need a base iPhone 12. I have an iPhone X in decent condition to trade in for it, if that would help. The phone doesn't need to come from Verizon, just be Verizon-compatible. It is an existing line. Switching to an unlimited plan is not an option for this account. Any thoughts?
I purchased an unlocked iPhone 12 from Apple and I'm trying to get a prepaid line from Verizon. The IMEI checker says that it's not compatible.
I've spoken to Apple and they say it it compatible and I need to get Verizon to add the IMEI to their DMD whitelist.
Verizon are saying that they have no access to do this and Apple need to do it as they sold the phone.
I seem to be going around in circles! Can anyone offer any help or advice to get this resolved?
Thanks
Just wondering if there's any reason hardware-wise that I should opt for the Verizon variant instead of going with the unlocked? I thought I read somewhere that there is additional hardware in the Verizon version to support more 5G Capabilities. Is this true? Or is the same hardware at least in the Unlocked version as well?
Thank You!
no difference. however the only difference is USA vs International Versions.
USA version has more 5g bands making it “universal” when traveling and has the only cut out on the side of the phone for mmwave.
What do you mean by cut out? I am planning on ordering the iPhone 12 Pro 256 in Pacific blue unlocked version which I will use on Verizon.
