The ultra-wide camera can capture 92% more light than its predecessor, dramatically impacting the sharpness, detail, and noise control in ultra-wide photos. This is due to the improved f/1.8 aperture lens. The telephoto lens has been moved to a 3x lens as opposed to the 2.5x lens in the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
