But like I said with those issues I've seen. I would upgrade it to at least an 8. Here in mexico I charge $50 for the refurbished screen. IC problems can be fixed for $45 as well. I have an iPhone 7 which works fine and meets my everyday needs but lately the screen is having serious issues (not responding in specific areas, ghost touch). A repair store told me they could repair it by replacing the screen for $90 CAD ($70 USD): is it worth it in your opinion, or should I move on and buy a new model, for example a second hand iPhone 8? Considering that I bought this Iphone 3 years ago from a BestBuy marketplace seller at discount, it's certainly not worth paying the premium for Apple Store repair service.

Replace it along with the battery if you haven't done so already. For example, my location would charge $95+tax for the oem refurb screen and battery replacement. This way you can get another 2 years at least out of it
