I heard a bunch of people say that Lies of P is extremelly hard, and sometimes even too hard. I've also heard people say it's very similar to Sekiro.
I love the souls series, and that's mainly because I enjoy the challenge of them, but I thought sekiro was really fucking easy. If you had even a semblance of timing, or rhythm, then there's no difficulty to talk about. Like you wouldn't even have to learn the bosses moveset, because it's basically just keep hitting until you see a spark and then parry a bit later than you'd think.
So basically, is Lies of P actually really hard, for someone who found Sekiro super easy, but the other souls games actually challenging.

Hi, I am considering to purchase Lies of P. I was wondering how hard the actual game is? I have only played and finished Demon Souls and Elden Ring (including dlc). Is the game worth it or not? I have seen the gameplay it looks really fun plus the world seems amazing. Let me know :D
I've never big on soulslike games because usually they set in all gloomy doomy settings where everything is depresso, with frustratingly unforgiving combat to top it all off. But for some reason Lies of P kinda piqued my interest. Maybe because of the Pinocchio theme, I dunno. Now here's the thing, Code Vein is my intro to soulslike, I thought I'd do at least somewhat decent because I play monster hunter but oh boy how wrong I was. I have skill issue so bad that if not for the npc companion you can travel with I don't think I would be able to finish the game. I did get better at the end of the game though (I think).
With that said, how difficult is Lies of P compared to other soulslike games? Like, give example of the most brutal soulslike games and where does Lies of P stands, so I know whether or not I should bother trying something that I probably won't ever finish
Many say Sekiro is the hardest Souls-like, but I found it very easy, as well as all the other Souls games. However, Lies of P is giving me a lot of headaches; I can't beat the bosses without using specters, and I even feel a little bad about it. I don't know if my build is bad (after all, I'm rushing to finish it before it leaves Game Pass), but I found it the hardest Souls-like I've ever played.
