Hope this isn't a big repeat, but I tried searching for this question and didn't find an answer. Too many posts about Walmart in general, I suppose.
I just signed up for a month of Walmart Plus ($12.95) because it was kind of a no brainer for a one time thing. I was ordering groceries for delivery anyway (ran out of time today) and I received a $10 promo code, free delivery (7.95), and a "premium" delivery slot (6pm instead of 8pm). I figured I saved myself $5. Not a big deal and there is a note on my calendar to cancel.
Do any of you guys actually use Walmart Plus? Do you like it? Do you find that it's a good value and you actually use it? Is the order picking usually fairly accurate? Are there any "hidden" benefits other than the free delivery?
Also, I was somewhat confused about the gas discount thing. The wording was kind of confusing. Is that $0.10 off at Walmart but regular price at Sam's? I already have a Sam's membership and typically fill up there anyway. Don't know if I would really be gaining anything there.

Yes I've been using it for years. I also have the Walmart credit card and apply the points to my grocery bills. It adds up quickly. I don't have to pay for shipping and it saves me so much time shopping in the store to be able to use the pickup service. I have a chronically ill child at home so the less time I have to spend navigating the hellscape of Walmart, the better.

When I place an order with walmart, lots of times the items are not available to be shipped to my home. Sometimes the same items are shipped to my home. It’s not third party items, just regular stuff.( bounty, tp, etc). I do all of my grocery shopping on W+ i find the value is grocery shopping from home and i shows up on my door in about 2 hours, and 10c a gallon off of gas which I use 2x a week

I just canceled mine after 2 years. Here's why, YMMV: • Deliveries to wrong address. Countless times, my neighbors would get my order, even though the driveway and the porch are clearly numbered, and in the delivery directions I describe the house as red brick whereas my neighbor's house is blue siding. • Poor produce, fresh meats. They consistently send me the meats that are about to expire, including rotisserie chickens. This week, I got moldy chayote squash. • Missing bags, extra bags. Every 3 or 4 deliveries, there is either a bag missing or an extra bag that should have gone to another order. • Inventory on-site does not match inventory in store. Almost every order, there will be multiple substitutions. There aren't appropriate substitutions for every product, but best believe they're going to throw something in the bag rather than end up with a lower ticket total.
